Presenter View and Delivery

Presenter View - Your Secret Weapon

During a show on a second display, Presenter View shows on your screen: the current slide, next slide preview, timer, and your speaker notes - while the audience only sees the slide.

Enable: Slide Show tab → Use Presenter View, or press Alt+F5 during the show.

Rehearse Timings

Slide Show → Rehearse Timings records how long you take per slide. In the Reviewing dialog save them, and the show can auto-advance at exactly those intervals - perfect for self-running demos.

Handy Show Shortcuts

F5           start from slide 1
Shift+F5     start from current slide
B / W        blackout / whiteout the screen
G            show Grid
S            pause the presentation
Esc          end the show

Pointer (Laser) and Ink

• During the show: Ctrl+P toggles pen; Ctrl+L is the laser pointer; Ctrl+E the eraser.
• Slide Show → Set Up Show → Show type lets you choose Pen color and more.
• Highlight with the pen and discard the ink afterwards (Esc → Discard) so slides stay clean.

Set Up Show Options

• Browsed by an individual (window) - self-running kiosk mode.
• Loop continuously until Esc - trade-show screens.
• Show without narration/annotation for silent displays.
