The basic requirements

To be approved you generally need: a site you own and can edit, enough original, useful content, to be the required minimum age, and content that follows Google's policies. Some regions require your site to be a few months old with steady traffic before approval.

Content that gets approved

Google wants sites that are genuinely helpful and finished. A tutorial site with real, well-written articles – like this one – is exactly the profile that gets approved. Make sure you also have the pages reviewers look for: About, Contact, and a Privacy Policy.

Common reasons for rejection

• Thin or insufficient content – too few pages, or short/low-value posts.
• "Site under construction" – broken links, empty sections, placeholder text.
• Copied content – text scraped from other sites.
• Policy-violating content – adult, violent, or other disallowed topics.
• Missing key pages – no privacy policy or contact info.
