Where to Open It

Press the Copilot key or Win+C on Windows, open copilot.microsoft.com in Edge or any browser, or install the mobile app and sign in with a Microsoft account. Your chats sync across devices automatically.

First Five Tasks

Summarize a long article from a link, draft a leave application, explain a photo you upload, plan a 3-day trip itinerary, and ask a follow-up that builds on the last answer. Attach files early: Copilot reads PDFs, Word docs and images.

Settings That Matter

Choose conversation style (creative for ideas, precise for facts), sign in to unlock longer chats and history, and check privacy settings for training-data use before pasting work documents.
